Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal Review

Happy Thursday!! You might remember about a month ago, Priceline had a 50% off sale on all Maybelline products. As with any beauty blogger, it is a great time to go stock up on products I haven’t tried. I picked up the new Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal range and a few other products. Today’s post will be a quick review of the Maybelline Color Tattoo Metal and swatches. The new range comes in 4 colours – Inked in Pink. Barely Branded, Silver Strike and Electric Blue. I believe in the US, they have 5 colours released which included a new gold shade called Gold Rush. I have previously blogged about the color tattoos here, saying how amazing they were. The pigmentation is quite good for all colors, with not much fading throughout the day. The texture and consistency of these are better than the original color tattoos. I found the metal range were much creamier and easy to apply. The packaging is the same as the original color tattoos where you can quickly see the shade without having to open each of the pots. My favourite shades are Inked in Pink and Electric Blue. They look amazing on the eyes as a base and stays vibrate all day. Overall, I’m quite impressed with these cream shadows!

Have you tried the new metal range?

Products were purchased by me.

I tried out the originals, I’ll have to check these out too. Maybelline is one of my favorite drugstore brands.

These are amazing shades!! Love the blue but also Barely Branded. I totally should have taken advantage of this sale but I had to restrain myself!

I’ve had these for ages and I still haven’t used Electric Blue and Silver Strike! I’m admiring them in their pristine condition, haha.

I love Barely Branded, it’s my perfect ‘my lids but better’ shade! I also love Inked Pink, I just wish it was a bit less sheer!

I love these! I really need to get my hands on Barely Branded- they are 50% off at Chemist Warehouse and My Chemist at the moment, but they are always all gone 🙁 Absolutely love their pigmentation!

Ahh! I have inked in pink and I totally agree with you! The formulation is definitely creamier than the original colours (maybe they fixed the formula for this batch?) and it applies so much better! I’m so tempted to pick up the other three colours but I just have wayy too many eyeshadows sitting around my vanity that doesn’t get used that much T^T!

I haven’t tried them yet! But the blue seems so pigmented! And i think Barely Branded would be my favourite.
