November Lust Have It

Today’s post is my thoughts on the November Lust Have It that arrived at my door step last week. It’s good to see Lust Have It has their shipping back in control. Mine was sent to me through express shipping so I was pretty impressed and every thing arrived in one piece. Lust Have It is a beauty subscription service that costs $19.95 per month. Each month, you are sent 5-6 beauty items to try at home and have the option to buy the full size product on their website.

Here’s what I received for November:

  • Essenzza Facial Treatment Masks x 2
  • Natralus Paw Paw Pure Gel 30g
  • Aveda Daily Color Protect 100g
  • The Cosmetic Kitchen Pressed Mineral Blush
  • So Susan Water Based Pure Luminiser

I’m most excited to try the Essenzza face masks. It’s quite lovely of them to have included 2 masks. Sometimes you don’t really know if a face masks works or not by using one. I’ve noticed The Cosmetic Kitchen is featured quite frequently in the monthly packs but it is good to see that it’s different beauty products every time. I’ve never heard of So Susan so I’m looking forward to trying the luminiser. Overall, quite happy with this month’s pack and excited to see what LHI have installed for December.

June Lust Have It

My June Lust Have It arrived two weeks ago and it came in this groovy clear fuschia makeup bag. The lazy me prefers the bag over the box because it fits through my mailbox and I don’t have to go to the post office to pick it up. Don’t get me wrong, I love receiving packages but the walk to the postie can be quite tough especially in this cold weather.

Ok…everyone here’s what I received:

  • Teez Trendy Cosmetics Head Over Heels Nail Lacquer in Carmine Craze Full size 7ml $18 – I was very intriged with this nail polish when I first saw it. I haven’t tried it yet but the colour is lovely for winter.
  • John Plunkett Glyco Peel Full size 15ml $29.95 – Quite curious about this, I’ve seen a few bloggers review John Plunkett and they have all been very positive so looking forward to trying this.
  • La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo Sample 40ml – I recently went to a blogging event and received a press sample of the Effaclar Duo plus so I’m excited that this was included in this months selection.
  • Orly Nail File & Toe Separators Full size $1.65 & $4.95 – Mini nail files are handy to keep in my handbag. I would most likely give away the toe separators as I don’t paint my toe nails.
  • Nuxe Creme Nirvanesque & Creme Nirvanesque Eye Contour Sample 50ml & 15ml – Nuxe is a brand a lot of bloggers love but I haven’t tried anything from their range so I’m looking forward to it.
  • $30 giftcard to Hello Fresh

Overall, I feel quite neutral towards the contents of this months subscription. The products I would end up using would be the Effaclar Duo, mini nail files, Hello Fresh gift card and the nail polish.

May Lust Have It

Hi and happy Sunday! Today I wanted to show you what I received in my May Lust Have It Box which arrived earlier this week in the mail. My box arrived in a plain black box so I didn’t know it was LHI. When I opened it, there was a note from the LHI CEO explaining the situation with the new packaging and offered a $20 voucher to spend on other beauty boxes such as the Eco Box, Fashion and Beauty Box, Chloe Morello Box and The Bridal Party Box.

Here’s what I received:

  • Mary Kay Lip-Lacquer in Chai Latte – Full size 4g $22
  • Coral Colour Eyebrow Definer Pencil in 246 Dark Brown – Full size $7.95
  • Appelles Rosemary Body Bar – Full size 100g $4.95
  • The Cosmetic Kitchen Pure Mineral Blush in Strawberry – Full size $34.95
  • Sassy n Savy Vitamin Enriched Facial Recovery Masque – Sample 20ml

I’ve been seeing Appelles Apothecary around instagram and was very curious to see what they were about. So when I saw that this months box included a Appelles Rosemary Body Bar, I was pretty happy. The packaging is lovely and smells good.

I’m glad I received the Sassy n Savy Vitamin Enriched Facial Recovery Masque over the lotion and cleanser. I’m always on the look out for a good facial masque.

The Coral Colour Eyebrow Definer Pencil promises to glide smoothly, blend easily and long-lasting. I’m looking forward to trying this, hoping the shade is not too light for me.

The Mary Kay Lip-Lacquer included in the box is limited edition! There were two shades available to subscribers Pink Pagoda or Chai Latte and in my box I received Chai Latte. The Lip-Lacquer comes with a retractable brush which I think is fantastic for hygiene purposes. I was reading other blogs and they were saying that the Chai Latte Lip-Lacquer is a lovely nude pinky gloss.

The Cosmetic Kitchen Pure Mineral Blush is another limited edition product I received. It comes in this cute plastic container with a red twist lid. The shade I received was strawberry and looks very lovely on. As with all loose mineral powder, it does get messy with powder going all over the place if not careful.

Overall, I’m really happy with the contents in this months box. I received 4 full size items with a total value of $69.85 (excluding the sample) for $19.95.
